Is the content supplied by you and your writers original and unique?
It depends on what you call original and unique. Of course every document that you receive from my content writing and copywriting services is either written by me or one of my writers and we never copy/paste materials from other websites. Sometimes clients require content that needs to use information that already exists on other websites, for instance, let us say the real estate reviews of a particular region. There might be other websites that have similar information. What I can ensure is that you get unique content that is not duplicated, plus, something extra. Similarly, if you are providing web design services you may end up with text that may look similar to some other website offering similar services, but again the content that you get from me will be totally unique to your website.
Do you write everything on your own or you outsource?”
Frankly, sometimes I do need to outsource, especially when bulk content is to be written. For example, recently a client wanted 80 articles on his various products. This was a job that could be handled by any writer who can write without mistakes. I write when:
- Only I can handle the assignment
- I haven’t got much work
- A specialty I’m comfortable with is required
- Some writer plays truant at the last moment
- The client insists that only I should work on the assignment
I outsource when:
- Some other writer can do a better job (for instance gathering factual information and compiling it into an article)
- Lots of writing is to be done and no expertise is required
- The writer is a subject matter expert
- I am already working on some assignments
- The client cannot afford me but he or she can afford the writers who work with me (of course this means lower quality standards)
- I’m sick or feeling lazy
Do I get the exclusive Copyright of the content that you supply?
Of course you do. Whatever I give you, belongs to you once you have paid. You are free to use it as it is, distribute it as your own content and modify it to your heart’s content. There is just one condition: please don’t attribute the modified work to my content writing services because sometimes the clients totally botch up the work I have done.
Do you charge extra of revisions?
In most of the cases, no. I keep revising until you are satisfied without charging extra. This is because what is the use of delivering a document you are not satisfied with? But if you require modifications after you have accepted the final version I may charge extra because this means you are getting a new document. If there are just a few sentences that need to be altered I don’t mind doing that for free but if you want to change the entire message then I will definitely charge extra.
What if you or one of your writers plagiarize?
Plagiarization does happen and one of my writers may indulge in this malpractice. I will never do that because as a writer it would be insulting for me having to use another writer’s material as my own. It means I cannot write what I’m supposed to write but I seek credit for it. This is also tantamount to theft because I am accepting money from you and you pay me expecting original content. So if I am working on your document I will never plagiarize.
The case is different if I am outsourcing the work to another writer and if that writer plagiarizes. There is intentional copying and unintentional copying. Recently one of my writers did unintentional copying but that was because he wasn’t familiar with this concept of not using the information as it is. Before sending the document to the client I doublechecked the document and discovered that many portions had been copied from various websites. I intimated the writer; he apologized and rewrote the document in his own language. So I’m not saying it cannot happen but as much as possible I make sure that I thoroughly check the document before sending it to you.
Why haven’t you mentioned rates on your website?
Because I outsource sometimes and if I mention the rates on my website the writers will start haggling with me because then they will know how much I’m charging from my clients. I had the rates on my website when I wasn’t outsourcing. Besides it’s more personal to send the quotation than simply directing the client to the rates page.
Are you a native English speaker?
No. I have acquired the language, learned it. It is not even my second language.
If you are not a native English speaker why should I hire you as my content writer?
Because it doesn’t really matter. As long as I’m supplying you the content that you need, in the kind of language you require what difference does it make? Does it anywhere manifest on my website that I would have been a better writer had I been a native English speaker? The understanding of a language is perceptual; sometimes people can write far better than native speakers because when you learn a language you learn it thoroughly, especially when you intend to carry out effective communication using it, whether for yourself, or for your clients. Personally I feel I write far better than many native English-speaking writers I have come across on the Internet. Of course there are many writers who write far better than me. I commit mistakes, but I immediately learn from them and try my best never to repeat them.
Where do you live?
I live in India. There is a satellite town bordering New Delhi (the national capital of India), called NOIDA, I live there.
How fast do you deliver content?
It depends on the amount of effort required, the level of communication that I have with the client, and the sort of work load that I have at that moment. I generally don’t prefer having backlogs so I try to finish my work as soon as I get it but in case there is going to be some delay I let it be known to the client before taking the advance.
How do you accept payments?
Most of the times it is PayPal; in fact 90% of my payments come via PayPal. My clients in India mostly send me direct payments through their bank accounts. International clients who cannot use PayPal wire me the payments.
